History as in, you know, what I listen to, not what I play or compose. This is actually a bit excruciating and embarrassing to write. I figured it would be easiest if I wrote it in a timeline format, with genres. And artists I was basically obsessed with, in chronological order. Okay, maybe not obsessed. But close.
4th-5th grade: Pop. (Avril Lavigne, Michelle Branch.)
Early 6th grade: Rock. (None in particular.)
Late 6th grade: Hard rock. (Three Days Grace, Linkin Park.)
6th grade summer: Emo. Okay, I know it's not a music genre, but whatever. (The Used, AFI, 30 Seconds to Mars.)
7th grade-very early 8th grade: Metalcore. (Trivium, Gizmachi.)
Early 8th grade-mid 8th grade: Death Metal. (Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir.)
Late 8th grade: Christian. (None in particular.)
8th grade summer-early 9th grade: Progmetal. (Dream Theater*, Porcupine Tree**, Sonata Arctica.)
Late 9th grade-early 10th grade: KPop. (DBSK, Super Junior***, Battle, A'ST1, SNSD, 2PM***.)
Mid 10th grade: Indie Electropop. (Junior Boys.)
Late 10th grade: So, what will it be? :]
